Incorporating positive reinforcements (such as praise and rewards) or negative reinforcements (such consequences or redirecting behavior) into lesson plans will be the key determinant of the classroom’s success.
Having said this, Skinner encourages the moving away from punishment and rather emphasizing the idea of redirecting behavior through positive reinforcement.
