She loved traveling to the beach and mountains, camping, dancing and Cardinals baseball.
Survivors include her two children, Montie (Ginger) Taylor of Ashland and Leslie Taylor (Melvin) Ingles of Columbia; four grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Anna, and Pamela, Trevor and Haylie; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Harmon of Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Trellis Acton; sister, Shirley Crane; and her beloved husband of 51 years, Reed Taylor.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Nashville Cemetery in care of the family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Raymond “Ed” McGee of the home; daughter Marni (Colby) Ardrey of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Kieran, Riley and Taelan Ardrey of Harrisburg; siblings, Joseph Platz and wife Terri of Columbia, and Susan deCamara and husband Richard of Houston; five nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Benny Gayle (Reno) Dawson, 89, passed on Saturday, Aug.
He was quick to laugh and inspire others to laugh.
It was not until after his diagnosis in 2015 that he was able to truly grasp the impact he had on others.
The outpouring of support from friends and family was a bittersweet realization that he had made a difference.
Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord.

Though Sherman was honored many times during his life with numerous awards and recognitions, his most proud recent accomplishment was living a full six months past the birth of his newest grandson, Malakhi Sherman Lee Moore.

Sarah Kathryn “Sally” Mathis, 73, died peacefully Tuesday, Aug.
Friday, June 10, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Chillicothe.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting, birds, flowers and gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Monk and Bobbie Wyatt (husband Kenny Dixon), and one son, David Baumgardner; five grandchildren, Clint House, Steven Mackenberg, Jenny Williams, Peggy Hermes and Katie Dixon; and 11 great-grandchildren.
